Talk a walk through some unusual books..... assisting a college student with a project

The purpose of the following "book" was to take a film canister, add movement, metal, and a natural element then tell a story.  I immediately thought the top would spin then we would bring in the elements of the water using blues, and sea creatures.

The center has a small poem about the ocean that was read as the ocean charms moved around it.

Cricut cartridge used: Doodlecharms

The next book had to tell a story and have windows that popped the opposite direction.  It was perfect that my son had just visited the San Diego Zoo, the store we created was "A trip to the Zoo"  we cut the windows out then used the cricut cartridge Zoo Balloo and Beyond Birthdays to add shadow elements of the children visiting the zoo, real photographs were from the zoo in the fold outs.

The assignment was for a friend that was taking a class in college regarding creating books, these picutes are very old, when I got my personal cricut machine, I have since moved onto an Expression.
