I was so excited today to put together an ecosystem for kids club, this summer I will help the kids build their own for now we will watch mine and learn from its process.
The hood includes :
Jiminey the Cricket
Stretch the Worm
Bayer and Aleve the pill bugs
Cleo the Beta fish
No names the snails.
I love to work with different types of crafting mediums, paper seems to be my specialty however, I do venture to other things as well. My blog is a place where I can track and share my talents. A place to take my inspirations and make them into creations

2012 Wreath
I wanted to make rosette wreaths for some friends with little snowmen on them, I had seen the idea in passing and knew I could make something similar.

Adding to the shadow boxes
Well my on going gift to the college kids had me developing a picture on the Cricut/gypsy to represent the month of April. Rain boots and an umbrella seemed like the right direction unfortunately we have had so much snow that my daughter felt I should have included snowflakes!
Art class Endevors
How could I resist not getting into the swing of things. I have a friend that likes seahorses at school so I put this together using some of the same elements and principles as the students. Additive and subtractive elements, construction - so I still need work here. Small pots are for small cactus that I will be purchasing .

Writing in the Florida sand
This past January we (all 4 of us) were able to travel south to Florida. Along out travels we stopped by the beaches of the Atlantic and then again on the beaches of the gulf. Several times we collected or wrote my nieces name in the sand with her new fiancés and made hearts with shells then took pictures, we knew we would bring print the photos frame them and gift them to Cyndal and Alex. I think it turned out great. I printed the photos at Walmart 1 hour printing, they did a decent job and so fast. This was suppose to be the main wedding gift but since I forgot this is going to be Keenan's gift to the couple since he will not be at the wedding :( classes, finals, moving and China in 12 days (for 8 months) will keep him home.
Life Events - notes for the Bride and Groom
Instead of just wedding advice, I saw somewhere that these were made for the happy couple a note is written for such events as birth of first child, loss of a parent, loss of a pet, child's graduation, empty nesters, (burning the dinner - good idea to include $ in that one, to order pizza), 1,5,10,15,20,25 and 50th Anniversaries etc..
I coordinated the paper to match the wedding, I will have guests select the event then seal the envelope with the coordinating seal, cards can be kept tidy in the cute little basket. How precious will this gift be years from now - when you open a card from your long past relative/or friend.

Catching up - We want to sing
I had been busy crafting all fall and winter however, some of the projects did not make it to the blog... Imagine that!
With both kids in college I find I have plenty of time to make things and craft, I should work on getting my blog updated frequently. For now Enjoy.....
This wreath was made for a long term choir sub: one of my favorite songs the kids sang: We want to sing.
