Cyndals gift

Yesterday my daughter saw a project and said "mom, I want to make this for Cyndal", translated will you buy the stuff and make this for me to give to Cyndal.  As any good mom would do I bought the stuff and it is done and ready to be wrapped!

Cricut carts used:
Creative memories - Devine wedding for the font and numbers
Love Struck - 2010 limited edition cart for silhouette
I used my gypsy to remove some of the silhouette fluff.
The background is wasi patterned tape
Then I also cut a grey border to break up all the white
Square frame from Joann's

Wedding card and monagrams

It has been awhile since I have updated, I have many things to share.....

Wedding doings - my niece is getting married May 17th, since she is my god-daughter I have to make a few special things for her:

300 monograms for her programs - cut and done.

Wedding card - just about done.  I found the idea in a magazine for a cascading card, bought the magazine and have since been planning in my head and not putting into action.

Additions to the shadow box frames

Now I have 4 college friends on the shadow box train.  I made Haley's friend the Kappa Delta page since she just pledged, the nativity is the December page for the frames.

A few festive seahorses

Once again I was asked to make some seahorses for a co-worker, this is the result.

Holiday cards

A co-worker asked if I would make a couple of cards for her daughter's classroom teacher and the teacher's assistant.  This is what I came up with.  I love the snowman, it could be my card next year with a little reworking.  I need to get busy with my cards, I received my first card in the mail today.

I look forward to visiting everyone's blogs and see what they are all doing.

I scraplifted my "concept" from a photo I had seen about a year ago. I had so much fun making these little snowmen I used the Snow Friends 2009-2010 limited edition cartridge.

I cut the snowmen all at 2.25 inches, then I cut the rosettes from Ribbons and Rosettes cartridge I cut the large rosette 1.50 inches, middle size at 1.25, and the small at .75 inches.

I cut a 10" circle and a smaller 8 inch circle out of a light weight cardboard, then wrapped the circle with ribbon. Then I placed the rosettes on the circle and hat glued them together.

Thanks for stopping by I hope you enjoyed my project.

Please leave a comment I will select someone randomly generated for a  little blog candy of a set of metal snowflake stickers like the stickers that I used on a couple of my small rosettes.
